Welcome to my Production Diary

I often get asked, "What does a producer do?" Obviously, I produce. Mostly, this looks like me sitting in front of my Mac at Starbucks looking worried or deep in thought.
This blog should help you understand better what a producer does, as I chronicle my adventures on and off set.

Zed Lapel Pin

Day 1 of filming. We filmed at several locations today in north county San Diego: Calvin Christian School, a road in Vista, and Garage interiors at a friend's house. All in all a good day of work. One down, two to go.

Giving Back

Working in the film and video business is always fun and interesting, but sometimes it leaves you wishing that you could do something that really impacted someone's life. Yesterday I had an opportunity do just that. Several coworkers and myself donated our time to help the Booth family, who were affected by the Witch Creek Fire. We filmed an application video for the family to submit to Extreme Make-over Home Edition. As you can see from the photos, this family doesnt need a home make over, they need a home. Please go to
http://www.boothsfamilyfund.com/ to read more about this family and help out any way possible.
